Description
Fernando Alonso was born with an ambition to win. At the age of three he was driving a miniature Formula 1 pedal cart made by his father, a keen amateur kart racer. Shortly after his seventeenth birthday he entered his first cart race and won. He joined the Renault F1 team in 2003 and became the youngest ever pole winner, the youngest ever Grand Prix Winner and finally in 2005, the youngest ever World Champion.
As a celebration of this astonishing career, Ray Goldsbrough has painted ‘Born to Win’ featuring Alonso driving the Renault R25
