Valentino Rossi won his 9th World Championship title in 2009 to equal Mike Hailwood and Carlo Ubbiali’s record of nine Championships in all classes. (Seven Moto GP /500 titles, one 250 title and one 125 title). He is also Yamaha’s most successful rider of all time and is the only rider in history to win at least one GP in fourteen consecutive seasons.
