Valentino Rossi 2002 Honda
Valentino Rossi won the 2002 Motogp series on a Honda, with four rounds to spare. The twenty three year old Italian superstar had already a multiple World Champion, having won the 2001 500 cc Championship and having previously won the 250 cc and 125 cc Championships. The 2003 Championship was another great series, with Colin Edwards and Troy Bayliss coming into the Moto G.P. Championship from World Superbikes to challenge the all-conquering “Doctor”.
